The People Don't Know Their True PowerI really don’t have time to write this, but I think it needs to be said. Politicians suck. Not all, but most of the ones that are there really do suck. I’m not going to back this with facts, so we’ll call this an opinion piece just like the rest of them. But if you don’t already have facts in your hat about how the politicians of today suck, you aren’t paying attention.

But whose fault is that? I see people constantly blaming politicians for this and for that and all the stuff they do and don’t do. And they are (SOO NOT) right.

Mental Health – You’re Doing It Wrong!!!

Seriously, English is really a bear of a language. Even those who are native speakers are tripped up by the various meanings of words and phrases. And the latest generations seem to ascribe completely non-related or bogus meanings to words that have nothing to do with anything.

Wearing the various hats that I do, I frequently come across the phrase: Mental Health. Boy are we using that phrase wrong.

3 Reasons Why Nelson Mandela would have been the Worst Candidate for the United States Presidency

Let me start by saying this is tongue in cheek. I’ve no doubt some readers read headlines and then bounce to random content and head away angry at the writer’s existence because they didn’t… well… read. They glanced. The world lost a great person today but they didn’t lose his greatness. He created a legacy of thought that only dies when we as a race become too foolish to listen.

It’s natural to reflect on someone’s life when they pass. You will no doubt be inundated with memorials, reflections, and celebrations of Nelson Mandela’s life, and rightly so. He was truly a great leader and a good person. A person who was true to his convictions though it cost him almost everything. Naturally, I asked myself, “why don’t we have presidents like that?” But the answer was so obvious: We not only have lowered our standards, we have almost dropped them altogether.
